USAT Certified

The trinity triathlon and our youth are in good hands because the triathlon will be a  USAT sanctioned event.

More Than Just A Race

Our youth triathlon is designed to give young athletes an unforgettable first race experience — or the opportunity to challenge themselves at the next level. Through our partnership with Colin’s Hope, a nonprofit who educates families and caregivers about water safety to prevent drowning, the event also helps raise awareness and support for an important cause that protects families and young swimmers.

Athletes will compete across three disciplines:
Swim. Bike. Run.

But the event is about far more than crossing the finish line. It’s about building confidence, learning perseverance, and discovering what young athletes are capable of when they challenge themselves - while also giving back to a mission dedicated to teaching lifesaving water safety and drowning prevention techniques.

Whether your athlete is brand new to the sport or already training, the event provides an encouraging and well-organized race environment built specifically for youth competitors.

A Race Designed for Kids

Every aspect of the event is structured with youth athletes in mind.

From course design to race-day organization, our goal is to create an experience that is:

  • Safe and well supervised

  • Encouraging and confidence-building

  • Structured for multiple age groups

  • Focused on participation and personal achievement

Athletes will have the opportunity to experience the full triathlon format in an environment that supports learning, growth, and fun.

Leading up to the event, athletes will have access to coaching resources designed to help them feel confident and prepared on race day.

Training opportunities will include guidance in:

  • Swim technique

  • Bike handling and safety

  • Run mechanics and pacing

  • Transition practice (T1 and T2)

For many athletes, this event will be their first triathlon — and we want them arriving at the starting line ready to succeed.

Every finish line builds belief. By completing swim, bike, and run challenges, kids learn resilience, discipline, and the confidence that comes from doing hard things - lessons that extend far beyond race day.

Lasting Confidence

Triathlon builds strength, endurance, coordination, and focus all at once. It promotes balanced athletic growth while helping reduce overuse injuries common in single-sport programs.

Total Development

Safe Community

WHAT OUR ATHLETES AND PARENTS ARE SAYING...

"Instilled self-confidence"

Our daughter was definitely hesitant to start, but the energy of the other kids was contagious. Doing something new and difficult turned out to be so much fun for her. Finishing her first triathlon instilled a deep sense of self-confidence in Keenedy that is hard to find anywhere else.

Nelson, parent of triathlon athlete

"Confidence You Can See"

We’ve tried other sports, but this was different. The structure and positive coaching helped our daughter push herself in ways we hadn’t seen before. She left the event talking about her goals for next year. As a parent, that growth means everything.

Rebecca. parent of 11 year old athlete

"Safe, Organized, Inspiring"

From check-in to the finish line, everything felt professional and well thought out. The safety standards gave us peace of mind, and the energy of the event made it so much fun for the kids. Trinity Triathlon balances competition and character perfectly.
